I'm not going to make any promises this time but supposedly I am staying here. Not at this same office but generally LA area. So that's good.
Something seemed wrong with my SO when I told him that. He should have been elated. Right? - b/c I'm staying. But he was less than enthusiastic. I asked him about it and he told me that he'd gotten used to the idea of me leaving. So what??? - he still should have been happy. Relieved.
I'm really no expert at decoding male emotions but I'm going to take a stab at it, b/c he's certainly not helping. I know (or strongly believe) that he cares about me and wants to continue this psuedo-relationship but he's having a really hard time adjusting to the lack of independence. Keep in mind that this is a 30 yr old man that has never had a real relationship. I think my relocating would have given him the space he wants w/o the break-up. I can't imagine long distance being the ideal situation for any relationship but then again I can't imagine living 30 years w/o ever having a relationship. I don't know if I should feel rejected or sorry for him or..... ??? And really - honestly, I'm not smothering him. We live over an hour apart and see eachother AT MOST 2 times a week and weekends. That really doesn't seem like that much to me. Maybe it's just me. I'm a serial monogomist. Maybe it is a lot.

Remember "its official"?!?!?!?
Of course you do, it was like 3 days ago. Well, it's not (official). Surprise, surprise. The plans are being changed again. Of course I don't get an update till Monday. I truely don't have the emotional dexterity to deal with this. One minute - you are going to Japan in April, wait not Norwalk, wait no - hold on till Monday.
I'm starting to hermit myself and avoid talking to people. I'm sick of telling people with all certainty (and I truely believe its true) that I'm going somewhere only to tell them days later, its somewhere completely different. I know I signed on for this life-style but I didn't think it would be so last minute. In actuality I should be moving in three weeks. Well, I'm sure the actual date is being adjusted but a person should at least know WHERE they're being relocated to with a month or two notice.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Lost 80's Tour - Sunset HOB and MILK
Lost 80's Tour feat. Flock Of Seaguls with Dramarama, When In Rome, Real Life, and Gene Loves Jezebel at the HOB, Sunset on 3/29/08. I'm pumped about seeing Dramarama and not bummed about Flock of Seaguls. I'm really hoping Dramarama plays Anything, Anything. It's one of my top five fave songs of all time. I think they have some sort of licensing issue and sold the rights to it so I'm not getting my hopes up... but don't quote me, I'm not 100%.
The Sunset HOB is really a cool venue. I know that there all supposed to be the same but they Anaheim one is not the same. Something about it being in the middle of downtown Disney and quite literally walking by Cinderella and Mickey Mouse on the way in always kinda ruins the show for me. I guess it makes everything more PG which is never as fun (I'm embarrassed to admit I saw Super Diamond there which may add to the awkwardness of it).
I worked out with my trainer today. Last friday he really kicked my a$$ but today we just did abs which is a lot easier. It's hard to believe that I work so hard to burn fat and then go home and drink a gallon of milk with 6 reeses PB cups. Okay this is bad - last weekend (I'm talking only Sat and Sun) I drank an entire gallon of milk. By myself. That's really a lot, even for me. Usually its 2 gallons a week, but I was really on a roll. Lets not forget the cupcake and chocolate cake. But back to the milk, one gallon = 16 servings = 90 cal/serving (yes - I do the fat free) = 1440 calories. That's 720 calories of just milk/day. So if I'm trying to eat under 1200, more than half of my consumption was in milk. Sick, right? I'm not really sure what it is but I've always consumed a lot of milk. I crave it with everything I eat. Maybe it's bc my mom breast fed me till I was 4. Who knows.

Relocated
You may be wondering why I've relocated. That is if you found me again. Fresh blog, fresh start.

It's Official
Yes - its official. I'm being transplanted to Ct. From LA to CT.
Can't say I'm terribly excited. I'm actually dreading it. Snow. I know it won't snow for a while so I'll be able to get used to it first but can you imagine shoveling snow before work to get your car out. I barely get out of bed with time to shower before work. This adds a whole - who knows? 20 minutes!?!
The worst part is finding new service people. You know - hair stylist, waxer, dentist. Is it crazy to come back to Ca for these things? I mean, if I schedule them all in the same trip... It took me so long to find a hair dresser I was happy with. She's actually in San Diego and I'm in LA now so it's already a hike to get my hair done. I'm going to try to schedule all my appt in the next month before I leave so at least I'll have time to get referrals.
Okay - no. The worst, worst thing is the closest Sfactor studio is in NY. It's like an hour drive from where I'll be living. It's dedication to drive an hour a week to pole dance.
Sacrifice.
I'm planning some trips in advance to give me something to look forward to. Relo will be in the beginning of May and I have a wedding in Vegas May 10th. Trip to Chi in June. Another wedding back home (nor Cal) in September.
Oh well, I'm going home to see my family this weekend (Also in Cali). Which will be nice. Although its the same state it's so far. So Cal to Nor Cal is like a 9 hour drive.
Enough for now. Back to work.

Why is Flo RiDa - Low so fing awesome?
Really I don't understand. It's been the number one song on the top forty for the last 5 weeks. Good news is its not just me. Bad news is I don't understand.
The song is actually pretty lame. Who wears baggy sweat pants and reebox to the club? I don't even know who wears apple bottom jeans. BUT I can't help but throw back my head and shake my barely-visible white girl a$$ every time it comes on the radio. I actually scan stations hoping its playing, but refuse to pay .99$ to download it.
Weird.
